Stride30 is a 30-minute interval training program focused on cardiovascular exercise. Participants are typically coached while using the treadmill, however,
a stationary bike, recumbent bike, or elliptical may be used instead to accommodate limitations, injuries or preferences.
Interval training is known to improve endurance, aid in weight loss, help you stick with the habit of exercising, and add efficiency to your workout. Interval workouts are also easier to tolerate than long, moderate intensity workouts. And they're more fun!
In Stride30, you will vary intervals by changing speed, incline (or resistance). Participants are welcome to choose between running, walking, or a combination of both. Personal Trainers help the exerciser determine proper intensity for Stride30 based on the Rate of Perceived Exertion Scale (RPE).
Stride30 is appropriate for beginners, as well as intermediate to advanced exercisers, walkers, and runners. Anyone can benefit from this program, regardless of health status or ability levels.
