Catheryn Lander
In addition to being the Manager of The Spa, Catheryn is an energy work practitioner as well as massage therapist. She attended the Palmer Institute of Massage and Body Work in Salem, MA where she was able to add training in several modalities of body work to her ten year certification in reike. Her body work style incorporates aspects of physical as well as energetic body treatment and alignment. Her primary modalities of study include swedish massage, deep tissue massage, shiatsu, reiki, and polarity. With her skill sets in body work and management it is her goal to help maintain a holistic environment in which the health of both employees and members is nurtured at all times here at the Mount Auburn Club. |

Courtney Garthe
Originally from New Jersey, Courtney came to Boston in 2000 to attend Northeastern University. She graduated in 2004 with a degree in Graphic Design and Art History. Shortly after, she began working at the Mount Auburn Club part time while she started her own Graphic Design business. She now is the Assistant Manager at the Spa and continues to practice GD on the side. While health and athletics have always been an important part of Courtney’s life she believes that the outdoors and natural environments are the perfect way to keep healthy and laid back. She enjoys surfing, hiking and skateboarding in her spare time and hopes her relaxed attitude contributes to a friendly spa environment for the clients and staff alike. |

Lisa Halloran
Lisa graduated from the Healing Touch
Institute in Wakefield, MA. Her certifications include National
Certification, Aromatherapy, and Swedish massage. Lisa also has
a B.A. in Education and a minor in Exercise Science. Seventeen
years of experience in the fitness industry make it possible for
Lisa to offer her clients stretch techniques, improved body positioning,
and a better understanding of the probable cause of chronic issues.
Lisa's modalities of focus are Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Trigger
Point (especially in the neck area). She invites clients to experience
the variety of techniques used in her massage that allow her to
detect tension, knotted muscles, and blocked chi. Whether a client
is seeking relief from chronic pain or the common aches and stress
of everyday life, she aspires to provide a sense of relaxation
and renewal.

Amy Cardillo
Amy Cardillo is a graduate of the
Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge, MA. Her specialties in
Muscular Therapy are Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage, Swedish
Massage, Myofascial Techniques and Injury-Related Tension Treatment.
Amy's goal is to provide professional, caring, and honest client-centric
massage therapy, always focused on the overall health benefits
and imporved well-being of her clients. She is extremely dedicated
to her work, and cares deeply for her clients and their individual
needs. Amy is very health conscious, and is involved and enjoys
many sports. It has been her involvement in sports and her desire
to help treat sports injuries that led her to a career in Muscular
Therapy. To Amy, Muscular Therapy is more than just a procedure
to make a client feel good; it is a key ingredient to maintaining
one's overall health and well-being.

Leah Wu
Originally from MA, Leah attended the
Elizabeth Grady School of Aesthetics. and is certified in Aesthetics,
and Essential Oil Therapy. Leah is also furthering her education
in Holistic Healing and Nutrition. Leah feels skin is a reflection
of one's health and diet and understanding the relationship can
lead to improved appearance. Her goal is to educate her clients
on their specific skincare regime which begins on an internal
level. Leah wants her client's experience to be both educational
and relaxing.

Anderson
Blaine School graduate in advanced aesthetics,
Greta is a Licensed Aesthetician focused on assisting each individual
experience proper skin therapy. She works with each client to obtain
a greater knowledge of skin care and products, with an emphasis
in decreasing stress of the mind and body. Greta is dedicated to
providing the complete spa experience. |

Shannon Hyde
Originally from Stoneham, MA, Shannon has a Business Management degree from Newbury College in Brookline, Massachusetts and a degree from Mansfield Beauty School in Quincy, MA. She is a Licensed Nail Technician who concentrates on the natural nail care of her clients. Her spunky approach to life helps bring a fun atmosphere to the Spa, and her perfect pedicures are definitely the ultimate Spa experience! |

Lucy
Barton
Lucy is a licensed massage therapist from Scottsdale, Arizona. She practices various techniques of massage and healing including: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone Therapy, and Shirodhara, as well as different hydrotherapy treatments. Lucy practices Iyengar Yoga and brings a yogic influence into her massage practice. She has a passion for Ayurveda, an ancient system of medicine from India. Lucy uses her understanding of Ayurveda to gauge each massage to work with the individual body type and current situation for optimum relaxation and lasting results. She feels that through breath, the ability to surrender and a willingness to open the body and muscles, the possibilities for healing are endless.

Melanie Kennedy
Melanie attended Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge. She furthered her
education at Mass Bay Community College where she assisted with their newly
instated massage program. Melanie is trained in Swedish massage,
Reflexology, Pre-Natal, Hot Stone and Sports massage. She specializes in
Deep Tissue Neuromuscular Therapy. She strives to bring a sense of well
being and centering to the body as well as relieving tension. |

Lei Ann Resurreccion
Originally born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii, Lei Ann Resurreccion
attended Boston University and earned her B.S. in Human Physiology. She
then received her dual concentration Masters degree in Chinese acupuncture
and herbal medicine with a certificate in Japanese acupuncture from the
oldest school in the U.S., the New England School of Acupuncture. She is
licensed to practice Oriental Medicine by the Board of Medicine in
Massachusetts.
While the nature of Chinese medicine diagnosis allows for all conditions to
be treated, Lei Ann has a special interest in orthopedics and sports
medicine issues. She is also a practitioner of the Mei Zen Cosmetic
Acupuncture System for the face and abdomen which can help decrease fine
lines and wrinkles, improve muscle tone, decrease inches & give you that
overall youthful glow! With her gentle style and mannerism, Lei Ann strives
to make your acupuncture treatment a relaxing and nurturing experience.

Joanne Daley
Joanne earned her Bachelors degree in Sociology from Hampton University in
Virginia. Having a lifelong interest in health and holistic medicine, she
enrolled at the Massage Therapy Institute in Cambridge, and furthered her
studies at the Kripalu Center in the Berkshires. Her combined experience
has allowed her to incorporate the yogic principles into her practice. She
practices Kripalu bodywork, positional therapy, deep tissue, Hot stone
massage, aromatherapy, and rejuvenating body wraps. She continually adds to
her skill sets most recently focusing on pregnancy massage, postpartum
massage and infant massage instruction. |

Catherine LeBlanc
Catherine LeBlanc is a graduate of the Elizabeth Grady School of Aesthetics,
and is certified in Aesthetics and Makeup Artistry. Catherine has a special
interest in treating sensitive/sensitized and rosacea skin conditions
through customized facials and sensitive wax. She also strives to keep her
knowledge current by attending various continuing education courses.
Catherine’s focus is providing thorough, results-oriented treatments, and
ensuring that each client leaves with a better understanding of how to care
for their skin. She believes that skin care is a key step in one’s overall
health care, and is extremely dedicated to her clients’ individual needs.

Alice Austin
Originally from Burlington, Vermont, Alice has a strong background in
fitness instruction from which she developed her interest in massage
therapy. She completed a one-year apprenticeship program with local Vermont
master Larry Bennett. Alice continued her education at Pathways of
Well-Being. She also holds certifications as an ACE Personal Trainer and
AFAA Aerobics Instructor. The modalities of massage which she practices
are: Reiki, Deep Tissue, Swedish, Sports, Hot Stone and Pregnancy. |

Sonya Chu
Originally from New Hampshire, Sonya started working at Sage Club Spa in
2000. She graduated from the Stillpoint Program in Greenfield, MA and is a
nationally certified and licensed massage therapist. She specializes in
deep tissue and pregnancy massage, and is studying to be certified in
Traditional Thai Massage. She has also studied Polarity Therapy and Visceral
Manipulation (which works to massage the organs within the abdomen). Sonya
aims to create a relaxing environment for her clients and uses massage to
improve their overall circulation and thereby improve their muscular
flexibility and function. |
