Susan Vose, ext 324
Susan first became interested in Pilates while studying dance, and later began to take Mat Pilates classes to alleviate occasional back pain. Enthusiasm and belief in the success of Pilates led Susan to study Stott Pilates, completing all levels of coursework for both Mat and Equipment based Pilates, as well as the study of Pilates for clients with injuries or physical limitations. Susan has also completed workshops on Pilates with Flexbands and Pilates for Athletic Performance. Susan is also AFAA certified in Resistance Training. Susan believes that Pilates' core strength and stability training benefits anyone and everyone. From the athlete training for a specific event, a client looking for improved conditioning, to the person recovering from an injury, Pilates enhances overall conditioning, performance, and well being. |

Myra Green, ext 321
Myra Green is Stott certified in Mat, Reformer, and small apparatus
including the spine corrector, cadillac, stability chair, ladder and arc
barrel. She also trained in anatomy and working with people with injuries
and health issues. Myra believes Pilates is a way to positively alter your
body and build abdominal strength as well as capitalizing on the mind body
connection to reduce stress.
Making a career change from social work to teaching Pilates full time was
an easy one for Myra when she saw the dramatic changes Pilates can make to
your body, your emotion and your energy.
She enjoys gardening, knitting and her two cats-Mace and Morgan when not
promoting Pilates as an invigorating core strengthening exercise regimen.

Blythe Ross, ext 325
Blythe Ross is trained through Stott Pilates in mat, reformer, cadilac,
stability chair and barrels. Blythe has been instructing pilates for four
years. Blythe's intrigue in pilates began fifteen years ago while dancing
with Ballet Oklahoma when Pilates' technique was introduced into the
repertoire. The new found awareness and connection with her body helped to
improve her dancing. When Blythe stopped dancing eleven years ago, pilates
replaced it. She brings experience of dance to her teaching by emphasizing
flow, precise form, and concentration on the mind-body connection. Blythe
believes the pilates methodology supports the spine and makes the body
stronger and more agile with greater ability to sustain the effects of age,
gravity, injuries, and imbalances by strengthening the core muscles from the
inside out. |
