Junior Tennis Open to Members & Non-members
The Junior Tennis Program at the Mount Auburn Club is a structured curriculum that teaches the junior the basics of the game and how to have fun on the tennis court. Emphasis will be placed on stroke production and quickly developing players for match play. The intermediate program will develop skills to move their game to the next level. They will learn strategy, court positioning, conditioning and drills for match play.
Member and Non-member juniors may participate in the Mount Auburn Club Junior Program.

Session II: January 4 to March 23: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm or 4:30 pm - 6 pm

Tiny Top Spinners (4-6) This class will focus on hand-eye coordination, motor skills, catching and throwing. All Spinners follow direction to learn basic stoke mechanics introduced through games and FUN!
Quickstart (age 5-10
Quickstart tennis creates the opportunity for juniors' age's five to ten to learn and play the game RIGHT AWAY!! The ball type, court and net height are all adjusted to fit their abilities and age. Quickstart program stresses the importance of real play and cooperation!
Level 1 Jr. Davis Cup (age 10 & up) Level 1 is a comprehensive class for the beginner who wants to learn the whole game. Sessions include instruction on forehand, backhad, serve, return, volley, overhead, rules, and scoring for match play.
Level 2 Jr. Davis Cup (age 10 & up) Level 2 is for players who have just begun rallying and serving full court. Emphasis is on court movement, basic positioning, mechanics and learning how to keep score during singles and doubles play.
Level 3 Jr. Tournament Training (age 10 & up) Level 3 junior is learning advanced stroke mechanics, court positioning, grips, strategy, footwork patterns, and shot selection. This play will begin to add more advanced shots and strategies in supervised play.
Level 4 Jr. Tournament Training (age 10 & up) Level 4 is designed for the junior player who has limitd match play experience and is loking to play in tournaments or on their JV & High School teams. This player will learn offensive and defensive strategies. The seve will develop into an offensive weapon. Level 4 players will start to play points with various types of spin. Sound techniques and strategies will be the tools you will learn to build your base.
Level 5 Jr. Advanced (age 10 & up) This class is designed for the serious High School Varsity Singles and open level player. Advanced techniques and strategies are integrated into fast paced drills and live ball situationas. A strong tennis knowledge/experience is a must for this class. The level 5 player must know grips, general strategy, court movement, consistency, mechanics, and ability to control depth and finish points.

School Vacation Camp (Ages 8-16) Half days 9am-12pm, Dates: February 21 -24, April 17 - 20. Deadline to register is the Wednesday before the first day of camp. Please email Jon Kiley at jkiley@mountauburnclub.com to inquire or sign your child up for camp.

Junior Tennis Camp - (Open to Non-members) MAC Junior Tennis Camp is organized by age (9-18) and skill. Our pirority is for each junior player to understand the fundamentals of the game and learn to enjoy tennis. Unlike other larger programs, we work in small groups so students can get maximum enjoyment and benefit from the camp. All our pors are USPTR or USPTA certified with extensive experience teaching juniors.
