By training at the correct intensity, you will optimize the effectiveness of every minute of your workout. *The Resting Metabolic Test requires an 8-12 hour fast with no alcohol, cigarettes, stimulants, and excessive exercise during that time. The Exercise Metabolic Test requires all the same except the fast is 1-3 hours. For you to receive the best possible results from the tests, you will plan on testing on 2 separate days. Roads to Wellness for Cancer Rehabilitation Program A physical activity program for cancer patients and survivors offering participants the opportunity to strengthen their bodies and empower their spirits. We invite you to join us. Exercise benefits cancer patients and survivors in a number of ways. Diana is a registered, licensed dietitian with experience in weight management, physical activity, and corporate wellness. After teaching group exercise and fitness training for 15 years, she became passionate about yoga and has been a full-time yoga teacher since 2000. Diana promotes a wholesome, natural, unprocessed diet and lots and lots of purposeful activity. One of her favorite things to do is encourage others to be the very best they can be in all they do. This is why her chosen careers in nutrition, physical activity and yoga are so important to her – she gets to do this every day! Join Diana.
